How We Install a Crawl Space Vapor Barrier
Free Inspection
We check moisture levels, soil conditions, standing water, insulation condition, and access points before recommending a solution.
Debris Removal
Old insulation and debris are removed before liner installation. A clean surface is required for proper liner seating.
Mold Treatment if Needed
Joists and framing with visible mold are treated before the barrier goes in. We do not cover existing mold problems.
20-mil Liner Installation
Floor and walls are lined. Seams are overlapped and taped. The liner is secured to walls with termination bar for a permanent seal.
